Open Letter of 244 Scientists to the EU Institutions, on the occasion of the 2018 Post-Development Conference, held in Brussels on 18-19 September

Scientists, politicians and policymakers meet in Brussels at a landmark conference [1]. The purpose of this conference, organized by Members of the European Parliament, adjacent to five different political groups, together with trade unions and NGOs, is to explore the potential for a « post-development economy » in Europe. Over the last seven decades, GDP growth has been the main economic objective of the European states.
