Roberta Sassatelli
Roberta Sassatelli is Professor of Sociology at the University of Bologna, Department of History and Cultures. Before taking up her current position, she worked at the University of Milan (I) and at the University of East Anglia (UK). She is currently co-editor of the Journal “European Journal of Sociology”. Presently her main research projects focus on contemporary consumer cultures, with particular attention to the moralities of consumption, consumption and sustainability, the forms of knowledge implied in cultural consumption and production, and issues of gender and embodiment.
