Résumé :
The Kashf foundation began its activities as an action research program in 1996 to demonstrate the credibility and economic ability of women originating from disadvantaged communities of the Lahore district.
The program began with 15 women who decided to use funds to create activities yielding small incomes. Today, these activities in particular concern the trade of textile, wheat, rice, other goods, and some goat farming.
The economic empowerment strategy is based on making microfinance services available and developing abilities through training programs.
